Grand Pigalle Hotel

Compass

Although its windows open onto the trees of the Villa Frochot, the private complex where Toulouse-Lautrec once lived, the 37 rooms and suites of the Grand Pigalle Hotel are not encumbered by the mythology of this Parisian icon. Rather, the focus is on the contemporary history evoked by Dorothée Meilichzon’s interior design, with jewel tones adding mystery, and touches of brass to draw the light. The ground floor combines an Experimental cocktail bar and a restaurant directed by the feted Roman chef Giovanni Passerini. Here a distinctly Italian take on tapas enhances a carefully composed wine list, strong on small Italian producers.
